      We love taking trips to little places with no roads and small family owned bed and breakfasts. That is the type of book we are hoping for. We want to see beaches, mayan ruins, jungle, and the culture of mexico while being safe and having fun. Here's a couple off the top of my head. Not really a novel, but one of my favorite Mexico books, "The People's Guide to Mexico" by Carl Franz. "Puerto Vallarta Squeeze" by Robert James Waller. I just caught the movie version of this one on Showtime, and it wasn't bad. The Mexican actress who plays the lead was very good.
