The Offa’s Dyke Path. The Offas Dyke Path runs for miles following the Welsh/English border and passes through a wide variety of dramatic scenery from mountainous ridges, valleys and farmland to undulating hills and pleasant woodland. Towards Knighton, the route takes you along a gentle climb through the Granner Wood to Knighton and the Offa’s Dyke Centre, where visitors can pick up a bit of insight into the history of the area, the Dyke as well as collect an Offa’s Dyke Passport to mark off completed sections of the route. km / miles.

The tag line on the signposts is ‘breathtaking borderlands’, which is true in the sense that it is a stunning stretch of British countryside, and also true as a nod to the amount of panting it takes to walk through it.
